Mandala Circle Pendant DIY

If you love patterns and making creative designs you'll probably love doing Mandala Designs. Mandala stamping continues to be a favorite for metal stampers. The options in designing really are endless. Some artists even use alphabet letter stamps in their designs. Either way, we hope this free Mandala stamping DIY will inspire you to give it a try or come up with a new idea.

Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. It's a good idea to make sure you have room for your letters, numbers and/or any designs you may be adding to the blank.

Even experienced stampers will plan out a design before stamping it out. We have a perfect solution that is both low in cost and very helpful in planning for space, etc. Try our Aluminum Foil Practice Stamp Sheets.

  2. Scroll down the page a bit and you'll find Related Online Classes with Similar Techniques below. These are classes we've specifically chosen to help you make this project. If you're new to metal stamping, here is our Beginners Metal Stamping Checklist.

  3. Using our Circle Grid Divider, a ruler and a sharpie make an X through the center of your blank. This will give you your center point.

  4. At this point you can either utilize the Circle Grid Divider and/or the Circle Template or use your stamps to guide you.

Option 1: Use the Circle Grid Divider and/or the Circle Template to draw out circular rows and sections on your blank. This will help you stamp more consistently as it provides a grid.

Option 2: Use your stamps to guide your design. Mandala Stamp from the outside in (our preference) or from the middle out.

  5. Darken, polish and add your crystals with glue. The Crystal Katana is a game changer when working with these tiny crystals.

  6. Using your hole punch, add one or two holes for your jump ring(s). In this DIY we punched two holes. Attach to a chain and you're all set!
