Groovy. That is a clever spin on metal working, it makes it really approachable.
Jane: Maybe the bronze powder is the Pearl Ex on the supplies list? You can use mica as an inclusion in resin, so out may be worth a shot just to see what happens.

Search for powdered metals online. I got mine on ebay. The pearlex powder is to color the resin that you add the metal powder to. This is a cool technique. You can sculpt something, mold silicone around it and then pour your resin as directed in the video as well. Have fun!
