This saw frame is German made, which means it is of the highest quality, with a well-balanced frame and a hardwood handle. The serrated lugs hold blades tightly. This frame also features large thumbscrews and excellent alignment for straight and accurate cutting. There are 4" between where the blade is placed and the outside of the frame, allowing you plenty of space for cutting.
I really enjoy this saw. When I received it and began my first project, the handle fell off immediately but I was able to glue it back on with little issue. It's a great and easy tool to use and I would definitely recommend it for someone who is learning.
I found the saw to be very useful. There was a warning in the online class that a new user would break a few blades when first getting the feel of it. I forgot to use the cut lube so for whatever reason I immediately broke my first blade. The neat thing about the adjust ability of the saw is that I could use the broken blade to finish sawing.
Fantastic little saw, I need o use it more than I do!
I'm just starting to get good at sawing!!! Oh all the possibilities!

Sawing is something I have wanted to do for awhile now. During a recent sale, I took the plunge and bought all I needed to start out. This saw frame is very easy to use-- especially in conjunction with Kate Richbourg's classes. I can't recommend the class more highly in conjunction with this tool!
This is my first saw frame and it gets the job done! After watching the tutorial videos on how to use it, I had no trouble putting the blade on and sawing out a shape. I'm not fast and my shape is a bit crooked, but I'm pretty sure that's not the saw frame's fault. ;)
okay I've watched the videos twice and I'm ready to jump in and take it to the next level. I'm excited to practice this so I can create my own designs. I know I'll make lots of mistakes but thats part of growing in the craft. Now I'm ready, set, GO!
