I just started stamping and this kit is awesome. I watched some getting started videos and I had everything I needed from this kit and I was able to easily make some beautiful jewelry. I really like how the stamps are centered, they come in a wooded box where each stamp has its place and each stamp has a letter on the side so I can easily know what direction the letter is without having to look at the stamping end. The only suggestion I have is... It would be nice if the wood container had a written letter on the wood next to each hole it goes into, so you can more easily find each letter. This was easy to fix because I just used a pen and wrote on the wood each letter next to the hole it goes into.

This kit is what i ordered 1st when i started handstamping and i am still using the items from the kit, especially the hammer.

This was my starter set years ago when I began stamping. I changed out the font to the Kismet, which I love. However, if I could go back in time I would tell my younger, inexperienced-to-stamping self to have stuck with the block font it comes with, as it really is an excellent beginners font; since it is uppercase you don't have to worry with aligning the "drop down" letters (g, y, p, etc.). I ended up buying the block font last year and love, love, love it!
