ImpressArt Ergo-Angle Metal Stamping Hammer
- One-pound weighted head of hammer.
- Provides ideal positioning for even impressions.
- Ergonomic handle aides in comfort while stamping.
- Brass head provides soft striking surface, eliminating double impressions.
- Brass head is replaceable.
- Patent is pending for ImpressART.
The head of this hammer will get a bit dinged up as you stamp with it. That is ok, it will still function just fine. The 'give' or slight softness of the face of the mallet is what allows for an even blow, no matter where you are hitting the stamp against the face of the hammer. This is what makes these brass head mallets different from other hammers, and perfect for stamping.
If you experience flaking from your mallet, don’t worry about it. Your mallet is tough! These are warrior wounds showing what a tough stamper you really are! We recommend you wear safety goggles or protective eye wear when hammering or using other tools.

I am not sure if I should be posting this but....
I purchased this from another company as it was offered there before Beaducation listed it. I was really excited thinking this would do the trick. Nope
It's on it's way back.
No matter how I tried hammering on the stamps, and using different metals I could not get an imprint as clear as when I used my regular ImpressArt 1 lb. hammer.
Maybe it will work for some and maybe I am just used to my current hammer but it felt foreign in my hand. I could not get a full imprint.
I have two other hammers and this one is BY FAR the best one ever. after graning down the heads of the other ones, they loose weight. this new one feels great in my haed, stamps wonderfully and the heads are replacable. never again will I use my others. yippie, I am a happy stamper for sure. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product.
BEST HAMMER EVER
Ok, so I bragged about this new hammer and now my thoughts changed after using it for a weekend vender event. I only like it on hard metals and it's edge is very very sharp. I accidentally swiped with the hammers edge as I was coming down and it's skinned it like a razor blade. So be warned cause it hurt like hell.
I love the color. Wish I could find the replacements for the head.
It does take a bit of getting use to if you are use to using the same hammer all the time.
One issue is that it does have black specs in it as well as when I got it there was a huge dent in the handle.
The material of the handle is nice, but a bit soft to the point if you smack it on something while hammer it does make dents in it.
After one evening of use this hammer has a very deep indentation on its head, so much so that it doesn't give a reliable impression. It was used only on soft metals so I am thoroughly disappointed in this hammer. I wasted my money on it.
