Beware! This actually has the word "China" stamped on one side. I found that to be a little tacky considering it's a "blank" for stamping. Also didn't like the quality of it.
I really like these as novelty gifts. I also find that the tiny engraving of 'china' on one side is very easily buffed off.
I wish it didn't say China, but I knew that when I bought it. Stamps very well!
Machining marks and "China"
The "China" is a deep engraving that can't be buffed off as a previous reviewer said - it could potentially be ground out.
In addition mine came with deep scrapes and scratches around the hole from where the keychain was attached.
The quality of half of them is not suitable for selling in my opinion. A shame because if they hadn't been damaged in attaching the chain, and didn't have the mark they'd be a great size and weight. If you have the expertise and tools you may be able to finish them, but at least half are certainly not suitable as ready-to-stamp based on my batch.
Like the others I was kinda bummed with the word China on it. I only bought one for my son so it's not a big deal but I probably won't get anymore. It stamps decent.
I didn't like that it said China on them because I advertise all my pieces as hand stamped so it seemed shady as if it really wasn't stamped by me

Don't like China stamped on the back. Be careful that you stamp only on the side without this mark. I don't see a way to polish, but this was not an issue for my use. I was surprised about how hard they were. Had to use a 2 pound hammer and really whack them.
As others said, would be cuter without the word China on it, but still worked for my project.
I know everyone says that the word China is a pain, so I took out my dremmel and sanded the word China down some then stamped over it with the motorcycle stamp real hard wack and it worked well you cannot even tell that the word was even there now. This made a really nice key chain for a guy.
I don't like the word China on them, but I use the other side. They work great as a bottle opener. My son loves to stamp on these and has made gifts for all his male relatives for Christmas.
Like others have said, not keen on the "China" stamp but I just stamped over it with some dots and it turned out ok. Good quality, heafty.
Got a few to make as gifts, they work great
