Curved Liner Metal Design Stamp, 19mm (.75")
- Design measures: 19mm (.75") x 2.9mm (.11")
- Made from a 19mm x 4.8mm " rectangle piece of tool steel.
- Since these stamps have long shanks, you may need to strike them twice, once on either end.
- This tool is handmade making it sometimes slightly organic which adds to its charm.
Design Stamps are a bit tricky. I highly recommend you practice on some cheap metal before diving into your Sterling Silver or Gold Filled. Click here to purchase a piece of sheet to practice on.
For best results with Design Stamps, make sure there is NO padding under your Bench Block with the exception of a Sandbag, make sure you are working on a stable table, and use a hammer which weighs at least 16 ounces. We recommed a Brass Head Mallet. Feel free to hit the stamp more than once, but hold the stamp steady, making sure you don't shift at all between hits. The more confident you are with the hammer and the strength behind it, the better your impression will be.

The stamp makes a really nice curved 'flower stem' or, I used it as a bridge for a scene. You definitely have to tilt and tap to make sure to get the middle AND both ends. Might want to practice a few times on scrap first.
Doesn't look like much but this is a really useful stamp to have. I use it a lot.
So versatile! This is the first stamp of this shape that I've gotten and it takes practice to get the full imprint.
