Kiln Brick

This brick is 4" x 9" and 2.5" thick. Lightweight, soft insulating bricks are great for torchwork such as firing PMC or Fusing fine silver wire. Soft brick can easily be cut without special saws or tools.

Works well for soldering. Tried having it under my trivet during torch enameling but found that sometimes I ended up with little white pellets from the brick in my enamel.

This greatl for annealing metal on. I put it on a flexible mat used for baking cookies as little pieces do chip off, it makes for an easy clean up. It gets hot, so remember not to touch it immediately after using with a torch.

Great size and I'm excited to start soldering! It is kinda messy and leaves white pellets in my work area. It serves it's purpose well.

These are great for sintering metal clay! I plan to use it for soldering and annealing, putting it in a rotating soldering pan.

I love this kiln brick for soldering! I'm still new to soldering, but feel this works better than the honeycomb board. I'm sure they're for different soldering purposes - love them both!
