This pick features a titanium shaft that is the best for all non-ferrous metals except platinum. Use to add paste solder to your piece. You can also use the pick to move your piece while soldering.
You may wonder "Why do I need three picks with different colored handles". The answer is to assign each different type of paste solder to each color, Blue to Easy, Yellow to Medium and Red to Hard. With each pick assigned to a specific solder, you will not cross-contaminate between different types of solder.
Soldering picks are essential for working with metals, use the different colors to not cross contaminate your different solders (easy, medium, hard etc). Tips will get distorted with use but will work even then.
These are a must when first starting to solder!

I am so glad I bought these I was using the same pick for my solder, and learned that it could cross contaminate. So now I have one to use for each (easy, medium, and hard)
