Sterling Silver Flat Pad Earring Posts with Pair of Backs, 6mm

The flat pad on these post earrings provide a generous surface for soldering projects.

After soldering on the post, use a Flat Nose Plier to hold the post. Hold it halfway down the post, past the notches. If you only grip the tip of the post with your pliers, it will break off. Hold the setting with your fingers, and twist the post. Release the setting after each turn. Continue to twist slowly with small turns and watch for movement. This twisting will help work-harden the post so it will not bend under pressure.
