I made my first ring using these techniques and wow did it turn out great! This was super fun to create. A little challenging but I was up for a good challenge! I'd never riveted before and just LOVE how it turned out. Instead of using a bead, I used a left over piece of chrysoprase stone I drilled and it turned out great! Very pleased. I'll definitely make more.

Ahhhhh.....Didn't she break the ring? We all will break many things we are trying to craft, but I don't think I will be wearing any rings with overlapped bands or what struck me as short-cut techniques that ended up wasting metal and components that ain't cheap these days. I have learned sooo much watching Beaducation videos but I didn't learn much here. Kriss Silva's riveting video was awesome, ten stars by comparison. She is a pro. I don't get what this video teaches. And actually, Tracy could have made this really instructive by using other tools in the final stages of her riveting that would have (maybe) saved the day and really made this a very instructive 77 minutes. Sorry Tracy. I don't usually give bad reviews, but maybe re-work a similar project video because I liked some of your ideas and your rings. I did learn that over using hammers too close to non-bombproof elements is a bad idea.

Oh well.
